Food for Thought

“Helping people get a life is the hardest work God does. That’s true for us as well. Partnering with him on this mission signs you up for disappointment, challenge, pain grief, and loss as you deal with people. But it also sets you up for exhilaration, joy, hope, and abundant life. That’s life. And that’s the point.” -Reggie McNeal (in “Missional Renaissance: Changing the Scorecard for the Church”)

Open for Business

Starting about three weeks ago, we started accepting clients for Christian counseling in Baguio City. We have been doing training and CPE for several months now, but counseling services and psychometric services are intentionally the last to bring up to speed. We will continue to work towards 100% operation in preparation for our “grand opening” this Fall.

If you wish to talk to us in Baguio, call us at (074) 305-5605.

Mid-June Updates

Just completed the graduation for CPE on Tuesday (June 15). On the 14th had the orientation of the CPE-Extended. This is 240 hour training (versus the normal 400 hour) training in pastoral care practicum. There are 5 students. These include people from 5 different denominations (Catholic, Episcopalian, CAMA, Assemblies of God, and Fundamental Baptist). We believe this diversity should add to the educational value of the training.
