Philippine Medical Mission Research

While we at Bukal Life have mostly shifted to counseling, clinical pastoral education, and disaster response, we still occasionally are involved in medical mission work.
Bob Munson, the administrator of Bukal Life, recently finished his dissertation on the use of medical mission events in the Philippines for long-term local church outreach. Since the focus is on integration of short-term events with long-term ministry, the paper has applicability beyond medical to other forms of Christian relief and development.
Rather than bore people with over 200 pages of unpleasant reading, Bob has reworked the dissertation into a couple of articles and several blogs.

The two articles are on Slideshare, while the posts are on Bob’s mission blog.
